#SSLifestyle Christmas

With the celebration of the birth of Christ approaching in just two days, we won't be doing our regularly scheduled #ssbeclassy and #ssbesassy style posts, but instead we will together be sharing with you how we plan to spend our Christmas.

KELI

Christmas is my favorite time of year.  Aside from the gifts, the smell of cookies baking in the oven, the colorful lights decorating the houses in my neighborhood, and all of the Christmas music make this time of year so joyful!  My family and I will spend Christmas Eve sharing a family dinner together, complete with the good china and holiday centerpieces.  Then the kids and I will bake some goodies and they will beg me to let them open one gift early.  I may beg my husband too ;)

On Christmas morning, we record the kids tearing through all the wrapping paper and the screams of joy, then we clean up and head to my mother's house, and my husband's grandmother's house for more gifts and dinner with family.  We finish the day with hot cocoa, a Christmas movie, and a lesson to all the children about what Christmas is REALLY about, the birth of Jesus Christ.

Christmas is one of my favorite holidays of the year, because its filled with lots of love, surprises and giving.  For those who are close to me they know I love surprises!  This holiday season my family (The Jackson's) plan to spend Christmas Eve together.  We'll probably start the day off with breakfast, then gifts, lunch and more than likely I'll cook a small dinner.  Christmas Day has been reserved for my side of the family.  Since my husband and I have been married we have to alternate in between families for the major holidays.

Christmas Day will consist of a yummy feast prepared by Chef Ruby Morris aka Mommy.  We'll probably dance to the Nae Nae (knowing my Mom!), play some games and laugh, laugh a lot.  So I'll be sure to share pictures using my new "selfie extender"!   Merry Christmas and until next time loves...
