Lifestyle : M.I.L.F Open Discussion

Good morning Loves!  Spring is almost here, well maybe in about a month or so for us fellow Chicagoans!  I hope you ladies are ready, if not, be sure to check out Keli's blog posting from earlier this week.  She gives three pointers to get you going this spring, shhh don't tell her but I haven't started at all!

I've slowly covered the first two acronyms of M.I.L.F and this week we are diving into "L" which stands for "Lifestyle" a topic I'm sure we all can relate to on many levels.  Now when I say lifestyle I'm referring to the many aspects of how we live day to day.  For you ladies who are single, mothers, wives etc...  What does your lifestyle consist of?  Does your role affect how you fit in the things you love?  If so, how can you change it?

For me personally, the last 6 years of my life I've become a wife and mother.  Dramatic change right, ask me 8 years ago where I saw myself at 30 I wouldn't have been able to tell you.  Then I was much younger, single, fabulous (wink) and you couldn't tell Belinda Wallace nothin', well heck you still can't tell me nothin' (lol)!  I'm happy to say I lived my earlier years of life, lived it according to my expectations and standards.  Now lets fast forward to the present.

I'm going to be honest with you ladies.  Being a wife and mother is hard!  I'm not one of those women who have a strict schedule I live by, my day to day routine for the most part is the same.  But depending on my how the first part of the day goes will determine how my evening goes.  Because of this it makes "me time" that much harder to enjoy.  I'm slowly learning not to stress about the small stuff and to enjoy the little things in life.

The picture above I keep because it reminds me of the young woman who enjoyed life and everything it offered both good and bad.  It was taken the following year after giving birth to my daughter.  My girlfriends begged me to come to Chicago's infamous Summer Dance.  They said we would have a mini picnic (far from mini) and dance!  We did it all and when I say I had a blast, I had a blast!  That night I was reminded of one of the joys in life.  I leave you ladies with this, don't lose yourself amidst the chaos learn to still live amongst it #sslifestyle...

Until next time loves...
