How To : Four Ways to Dress Fashionably Professional in the Workplace

Good morning Loves!  Today I'm going to share with you 4 ways to dress appropriately yet fashionably in the workplace.  Just about every office in corporate America has a set of guidelines when it comes to work attire.  Majority of the time it's the same boring look, a white button up, black, grey or navy slacks or skirt (below the knee) and a black closed toe shoe.

It is now 2015 and a lot has changed over the past 25 years.  With many of the millennial babies entering the work field embracing their bold personality with a strong sense of accomplishment and confidence we'v influenced the course of what "corporate attire" use to be.  What was once the norm is now a thing of the past, here are 4 ways to dress appropriately yet fashionably while working your 9 to 5!

1.  There is a such thing as too bright!

Now ladies and gentlemen I am not against color in the workplace but I am against the neon family.  We all know who they are!  Neons can be worn in moderation and should only be worn sparingly when pulling together a look.

2.  Should I wear a Midi?

Well, that depends, midi's come in all shapes and sizes so I would suggest opting for one that is appropriate for your specific body type.

3.  Prints are not safe!

Wrong!  How prints are worn is what makes it safe.  My suggestion, don't go overboard with your look, if the print is eye boggling (aka hard on the eyes) use solid simple pieces to pull the look together.  When in doubt don't chance it, stick to your guns!

4.  Out with the old, in with the new

Say, no more to the white button up shirts and say, hello to the new!
